Carving A Horses Head – Part 1

Carving A Horses Head – Part 1

 This is a NEW post!

While going though some old posts before Judy and I started making videos, I came across this short Photo collection showing how I carve a caricature horse’s head.  I thought it would make a good experiment to see if it’s possible to capture some of these older, photographic posts onto the new Out West Blog.  In this example I show two versions….one with the horse looking straight ahead and the other with the head turned.  If you want the head turned the other way just flip the photo.

So, give me some input on this experiment so I can see if it’s worth it.  Sometimes having the photo in front of you is better than watching a video.

Your comments are especially appreciated for this one.  Thanks.

So my opinion on this for me the photo series is very useful and if combined with one of your horse videos it’s the complete package. All that’s left is to practice, practice, practice. Thanks Lynn.

Really appreciate sequential carving photos vs videos; they clearly illustrate conjures, which define character.

Wonderful, thanks for sharing. I will try this after I’m finished my duplicate bridge players.
