This Bottlestopper was made for the Woodcarvers Auction at the November, 2012 Dayton, Ohio Artistry in Wood show. I was worried about the green but with a little Midnight Blue and Yellow mixed in for shading he turned out pretty good. The red and white really amplify that face.
I can’t remember exactly what the piece brought at the auction but I know it was over $200.
