First…..With this new website, any new Out West Woodcarving blog posts will be done on this site vs. the old sight at www.outwestwoodcarving.blogspot.com. I will keep that site open as there is just too much information, i.e., videos, photos, etc. there to lose. Also, since this will be the first video project on the NEW Out West Gallery website, I thought we would do one of my favorite characters. A few years ago I took Teddy Blue to the Dayton Woodcarving show and he was a real hit as I think it was the first time anyone saw a woodcarving of a Cowboy with reflective sunglasses. So, in this series we will carve that figure, or one similar, and I’ll show you how to make those great looking sunglasses. So, let’s get started!
