Carving a Small Cowboy Bust – Part 1

Carving a Small Cowboy Bust – Part 1

“Ready for the big dance, Buckeye’s got on his best bandana, some of that fancy toilet water that’s guaranteed to make the girls do a doubletake, and he even brushed his tooth! If this don’t work he’s thinking seriously about volunteering for line-camp duty as there’s no hope left!”
I originally posted this on the old Blog back on June, 2008.  I thought you might like to take a chance on a fairly simple, small Cowboy bust.  There are lots of photos attached here showing the progress from the sketch to the completed figure so here is the first bunch.  More with come with the next couple of following posts.  I laid a pencil next to the sketch to show the scale but you can adjust it to a size that’s comfortable to you. You can also just click on the individual photos to make the much larger.

I might be a little man in a big world but on our 30 acres I'm the one in charge when the wife's not around!
