Looking Back – My First Internet Post

 I have decided to reopen my original Out West Woodcarving Blogger posts.  Here’s the link: http://outwestwoodcarving.blogspot.com   You will be able to see all my posts from the vary first one in May, 2006 to the most current.  I only post there now to keep the cite open.   While almost all the videos and all the links to my old Picasa photo gallery are no longer available, there is still a ton of information on how I developed my various methods and techniques in carving through the years.  Unfortunately, the Blog Photo Gallery no longer exists.  Google cancelled their Picasa site which I was using and all the photos previously available there were transferred to my personal, family photo page.  A large amount of those have been reposted to this new site.  As for the blank video pages you’ll find, most were deleted from the Vimeo site I was using.  It just got too expensive.  You will find a few are still there but I have since transferred all of them to my Youtube site.  Here’s the link to that site: https://www.youtube.com/user/lodoughty

So, you can now search through the years by clicking on the various Blog Archives and within those see the number and titles of posts made each month.  You can also click within the Labels area to search for a particular subject covered.  Loads of information in that area.  Again, a lot was lost due to Google cancelling various programs and the costs involved in using a commercial video hosting site.  Still, I think you might find the old one can be a new source for carving information and techniques.
