Pancho

Pancho

Believe it or not….I finally finished going through the Cowboy box of camera photos!  Now it’s on to photos of Indians, Mexicans, Mountain Men, Explorers, and who knows what else might turn up as we go through that pile of envelopes.  I will start with the carving of “Pancho”, done back in ’98.  He took First Place at the Affiliated Woodcarvers show that in Iowa that year.  He still resides in my Gallery display case.  I did make another copy of him which some lucky collector now has.  A very fun piece to carve and a really popular one at many following carving shows.

Comments welcome.

I might be a little man in a big world but on our 30 acres I'm the one in charge when the wife's not around!

  1. One of your carvings inspired me to start a drawing last week of a bandito!
