Here are two versions of Standing Red Bear. You will have to forgive me for reusing the name twice. I have carved a lot of Native Americans so coming up with original names that add appeal to a piece becomes harder to do over time. The first piece was carved back in the 90’s and the second in 2015. When comparing the two I can see a definite improvement over time with the carving aspect. The painting is fairly equal. It’s nice to look back and see you have improved. I hope you agree.

I love seeing early and later periods of your work. The development of your skills as an artist are so vividly shown! As with fine wine, you get better with age!!
I love both , if you ever think about doing another video . You could totally do one on the evolution of your carving ,and structuring characters. I believe that would be ahistoric conversation . The features on the second one is so defined and gaps are so tight . Its hard to believe its wood .. Thank you Lynn for all you gave to this community.
