We were down visiting our Son and family in Norman, Ok recently and I took that opportunity to reacquaint myself to one of my favorite carvings. The colors of the piece and the attitude of the character really make me smile. So…..as he refused to give that piece back to me I decided to carve another for myself! I haven’t painted it yet as I always like to take a moment to admire a piece in it’s natural state. You will note some changes but that’s okay. I never try and duplicate a carving.

This is a fantastic piece, but A Slight Chance of Rain has always been one of my favorites. I think all of your work is top notch!
