A Sharp Dressed Man

A Sharp Dressed Man

Here’s one I had a little fun with. He sat on my paint table for about 6 months partially painted as I just couldn’t figure out what to put on his suit lapels. If you could see under the current design you would see about 4 different designs that just didn’t work out. After another search across the image files of a Native American drum site I came across one that, with a few changes, could possibly work. It wasn’t an easy one to paint but I think it fits the character perfectly and from there the solution to a finished piece seemed to fall in place. After holding up a spare set of glasses I’d made , this fellow just seemed to come alive.

So, here he is! I don’t know where he’s headed…maybe a trip to the Pow Wow, maybe across the bridge to the Cherokee Casino, or maybe just cruising around the Res with his current Honey. One thing’s for sure, he’s going in style because he’s certainly a “Sharp Dress Man”!  Here’s a little tune I’m sure is on his play list.

I hope you like him as much as I do. As always, your comments are welcome and appreciated. And, if you haven’t already, take a moment and subscribe. Maybe he’s got a few friends who just might show up later.

I hope you like him as much as I do. If so take a moment and drop me a comment as they’re always welcome and appreciated.

I might be a little man in a big world but on our 30 acres I'm the one in charge when the wife's not around!

I really like the design on the lapels…..I’m sure there is a Indian craft lady out there who has beaded something like this for a special suit of clothes for one dapper gentleman…..
