Iron Nose

Iron Nose

Carved in 1999, this is a nice example of my earlier Native Americans.  About the only improvement I would make would be the feathers.  Over time I learned that feathers have a natural curve determined by which side of the bird they were taken from.  Once I took this into account it created a much improved affect on future pieces.  Other than that I still like this piece.

Comments welcome.

I might be a little man in a big world but on our 30 acres I'm the one in charge when the wife's not around!

Love his expression ! Im still trying to learn how to cut graceful curves on my bandsaw. It does add so much detail.

In one of your videos, you mention information about the type of bandsaw blades you buy. Please tell me again here about the size, type, and where they can be purchased. Thank you, Mark
